The Biogen team can be a resource for patients when they have questions about starting treatment, managing common side effects, and navigating financial assistance.
Nurse Educators can help your patients who are prescribed a Biogen therapy start treatment. They help patients understand what to expect during treatment, give additional information about common side effects, and provide education about available resources. They can also come to your office and educate your staff on the role of a Nurse Educator and the services they offer. In addition, they can provide feedback on how your patients are doing on their Biogen treatment.
Financial & Insurance Assistance is designed to help your patients start and continue on therapy even if cost may be a concern. We have tools to help your patients based on their individual needs. We offer a variety of resources to help your patients navigate insurance and connect them with a variety of financial resources, including:
*Effective January 1, 2021, there is an annual cap on the amount of assistance that patients can receive over a one year period. Federal and state laws and other factors may prevent or otherwise restrict eligibility. People covered by Medicare, Medicaid, the VA/DoD, or any other federal plans are not eligible to enroll. Patients are eligible to enroll in the Biogen Copay Program for as long as it is offered and they are treated with VUMERITY.
